Have you ever imagined having straight, shiny, white teeth? One of our greatest passions is helping our patients achieve the smile they imagine, and there are different ways to get the teeth you’ve always wanted. Come see us for a consult to find out how we can help you get your ideal smile!
CEREC Crowns and Bridges
If you’ve ever had a tooth crowned before, you probably remember two things – two appointments, and a temporary crown that falls off before your second appointment. No more.
CEREC is a digital 3D system for creating permanent crowns in one appointment. No more goopy impressions or temporary crowns. Have your crown or bridge all in one appointment in usually less than two hours.
Restoring Dental Implants
Most of us have heard of dental implants for replacing missing teeth. They are the most natural looking and feeling way to replace a tooth.
A dental implant is essentially a titanium post in place of a tooth’s root, and a porcelain crown, which is placed on the post permanently. Give us a call for a consult, so that we may help you get your full smile back.
Full or Partial Dentures
Among the services we offer to replace missing teeth, dentures and partial dentures can be a very nice option for patients. While they aren’t for everybody, they can be a very attractive option, as no two situations are identical.
Non-Surgical Endotinic Therapy (Root Canals)
Root Canal – very few words trigger as much fear and anxiety as those two words. The good news is that most root canals aren’t any more painful than having a filling. Instead, it is usually the discomfort of the abscessed tooth that causes the pain.
If you should ever need a root canal, we do most of them here without referring to an endodontist (dentist who specializes in root canals).
Sealents to Prevent Tooth Decay
When kids turn about six years old, their first permanent molars begin to emerge. As you probably know, molars are the largest teeth in the mouth, and they have all sorts of little rough grooves and valleys – perfect places for food and bacteria to become stuck and start causing cavities.
Sealants are like a white paint that fill in the deepest parts of those grooves and valleys, which we make hard by shining a blue light on the material. These hard sealants block food and bacteria from becoming stuck there, and prevent cavities on the biting surfaces of teeth.
We live in a digital world now, and with dentistry always being on the cusp of utilizing these technologies for our patients’ well-being, digital X-rays are no exception. Sometimes technology does what it’s supposed to and has other benefits, as well. Digital X-rays are one such case.
By using digital X-ray sensors, we can limit our patients’ annual radiation exposure, and see teeth more clearly to show problem areas that need treatment. Truly a win-win.
